For several months, ClearMechanic has worked closely with the team at RepairPal to identify ways of matching our expertise, “visual explanations,” with one of RepairPal’s core assets, the repair encyclopedia. We know from focus groups and surveys that the average car owner does not understand the service recommendations they hear from service advisors and mechanics. The use of high-quality visual content and straightforward text explanations can make a huge difference in this context.
As content partners, ClearMechanic will have access to RepairPal’s encyclopedia of text explanations for use in our shop-facing software. Likewise, RepairPal will have access to ClearMechanic’s illustration content for use in their consumer-facing web site.
