When using the ClearMechanic Plus mobile application for the first time, you will notice that selecting an inspection item automatically makes it a "Red Priority - Urgent Service" item. For example, here is what first-time users see if they select the inspection item "Brake Rotor."
We intentionally designed our application this way because most clients only want to document "Red Priority" items. Therefore, our pre-loaded settings for the app automatically make a selection or "tap" turn an inspection item into a Red Priority item.
However, we recognize that every client is different and we pride ourselves on our program's customization and ease-of-use. So, here is how to change this setting in the ClearMechanic Plus mobile application:
Step #1: In the ClearMechanic Plus mobile application, select the "More" button at bottom of screen.
Step #2: Select the "Settings" button.
Step #3: Change the "Default Priority of New Inspection Items" setting to be "Green Priority."
You're done! Now, when you select an inspection item, it will automatically become a "Green Priority" item. Let's return to our example of the "Brake Rotor" item. With the changed setting, this is how the item will look once selected.
Remember, regardless of the setting you choose, you can always change the priority level of any inspection item by "swiping left" on it.
